For so long health and wellness have been considered one thing and people are still unable to find the difference between the two. But wellness is quite distinct from your health. Your overall health includes better physical and mental health. But wellness is about healthy living by continuously improving your living habits. It refers to the best physical and social health. One needs to be doing well in its society and as a person as well to be considered “Well”.
What are Health-Related Components?
Health can be associated with a number of components, but there are five major components that one needs to take care of to be called a healthy person. These components are:

A person shall be aware enough to accept the reality of the situation so he can achieve stable emotional health. To achieve emotional wellness, one needs to:

Spiritual health has been known to have a greater impact on a human’s wellness, that’s why if you want to be labeled as “well”, you need to work on your spiritual health as well. That could be done by meditation, or spending quiet time with yourself to realize your purpose in life. It can also be achieved by studying deeper about certain religions that you follow. In short, it includes everything that makes you feel purposeful in life and makes you more connected to yourself and nature.
5. Social Health
Our interaction with other people in society in a positive manner is considered our social health. And based on our relations with others, this health could be a good or bad condition. The idea of wellness relies on social health because a person cannot be called well if they cannot survive in their surroundings, no matter how healthy he/she is physically. So, to keep your social health in check, you need to work on your social skills, including:

Wellness is a holistic concept that requires you to switch basic daily activities to healthy activities, which can ultimately result in keeping you healthy, both physically and socially. Physical health is the foundation that needs to be strong enough to hold a person for a long time.
